SUBHEADINGS Screen 1 of 2
| This is the Subheadings screen. Subheadings further refine your search by narrowing to specific aspects of the MeSH term. For example, if you select "adverse effects" below, your search will retrieve 483 articles on the adverse effects of estrogen replacement therapy. If you select "economics" your search will retrieve 19 aritcles on the economics of estrogen replacement therapy, and so on.
There are over 50 subheadings, but OVID only displays those that are relevant to your search term. Take a moment to become familiar with the subheading options that are available here.

or more subheadings, click in the checkbox next to each.
Subheadings are restrictive, however. Use caution when selecting them, because they can make your search too narrow and too restrictive. The default, or rule-of-thumb, is to Include All Subheadings.
Let's follow the default option. Click on the Include All Subheadings option, then click on the CONTINUE button.
