AND

All terms must appear in each of the retrieved citations.

Use AND when you want to create a relationship between two or more different concepts that both/all must be represented in the retrieved literature.

Using the AND will decrease the number of citations by finding only those citations that contain both/all concepts.

pregnancy, first trimester AND abortion, spontaneous

heart diseases AND cocaine
