SECTION 1: INTRODUCTION TO THE WEB

REVIEW OPTIONS 1

The next part of the tutorial is designed to show you some of the basic fuctions of the Netscape® and Internet Explorer® Web browsers.

Before we move on, there are other options that you can explore at this point if you like:

Review the vocabulary terms and Internet lingo that we've introduced so far.
Skip the vocabulary review and go directly to "Web Browsers", where we'll talk briefly about the basic functions of Netscape® and Internet Explorer®.

If you have a question or comment about something that we've discussed so far, e-mail your comment or question to a librarian.

(Your feedback is important to us! If you have a question, you can request that we e-mail a response directly to you. Or, if you have a general comment, send it to us and we'll keep it in mind when we update the tutorial.)

If you are already familiar with the vocabulary terms that we've discussed and using Web Browsers, move on to Section II: Strategies for Locating Reliable HIV/AIDS Information on the Web.

Clicking on the right-facing blue arrow below will first take you into the vocabulary review, and then into the discussion of Web Browsers.
