PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY: COOKIES

Quite often, your computer may send information to another computer and receive information from other computers without you being aware of it. This is the process during which computers exchange COOKIES. Cookies are small pieces of information that computers ask to store on (and later retrieve from) your computer.

You can disable Cookies, but many Web sites don't work properly without Cookies. Another option is to periodically erase the Cookies from your computer.
