or up-to-date. Is the site up-to-date? Or, is the information outdated and maybe even inaccurate?
When you find a Web site, look it over and decide if you can answer these questions:
- Does the site have a date on it?
- How often is the site updated?
- How often are links checked?
- How often is the site fact-checked?
- Can you tell whether the information is current or old and outdated?
Most good Web sites will include a date either at the TOP or BOTTOM of the page. Be sure to check for a date, and use only up-to-date information.
If you can not find a date on each page or screen, click the site's HOME option, and check for a date there. Or, look for current information on the Web site. If it's talking about an upcoming event, then you can assume that it is a relatively active site.
