The next Netscape® navigation option we will discuss is the BOOKMARKS feature.
The BOOKMARKS feature allows you to store Web sites that you want to go back to later. The BOOKMARKS feature organizes stored sites (URLs) in folders. Netscape® provides some folders, and you can personalize others for your own use. BOOKMARKS is a convenient and easy way to create your own collections of the Web sites that you find yourself using frequently.
For example, let's say that you have found a Web site that you want to go to time and time again. Instead of writing down the URL, or trying to memorize the URL, create a BOOKMARK. Then, when you want to go back to that site, you can simply go to your BOOKMARKS and select the URL from the list or folder. If the Web site is a news source like USA Today, you might want to put in in your "news" folder. Or, if the Web site contains information about the latest AIDS drugs, you might want to create a new folder, giving it a name that reflects its contents.
