INTERNET EXPLORER®: BASIC FUNCTIONS: THE ADDRESS (URL) BAR


Here's the navigation bar again:


Moving down the screen, you'll see the ADDRESS BAR:

The ADDRESS BAR shows the URL for the site you are currently viewing. You'll notice on the ADDRESS BAR above that we're looking at the http://www.microsoft.com site.

If you want to go to a new site, and you know what its URL is, simply type the new URL into the ADDRESS BAR.

Notice the DOWN ARROW, GO, and LINKS on the far left-hand side of the ADDRESS BAR? Here's what they do:
