EXPLAINING OVID's MAIN MENU ICONS

	Allows you to search for a specific author. Click on the icon, then type in the author's last name and first and middle initials, if known.
	Allows you to search for a specific word or phrase in the title of an article. Click on the icon, then type in your word or phrase.
	Allows you to search for references in a specific journal. Click on the icon, then type in the full name of the journal.
	Allows you to search for a word in a specific field, such as the institution, author, grant registry numbers, journal volumes, pages, authors, etc. Click on the icon, then type in your word and select a field from the list.
	Provides access to the MeSH explanation books -- the alphabetical lists of Medical Subject Headings, Permuted Medical Subject Headings, and Tree Structure.
	Allows you to combine two or more sets together. Click on the icon, then select the sets to combine and then select either "AND" or "OR".
	Allows you to select any set to LIMIT. This command will display additional limits that are not listed on the Main Search Menu, such as publication types, age groups, gender, range of years, etc. Click on the icon, then select the set to limit, and the limits.
	Allows you to change the search options. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THE BASIC MODE.
	Allows you to change databases, with the option to rerun your search strategy in another database.
	Will exit system. Please logoff the system when you are finished searching. The system will automatically logoff after 30 minutes of no activity, or after 30 minutes if you are browsing full text journals instead of searching.
	This will display Ovid's Online Help Manual.
	Clicking on this button will send your input and/or selections to the database for processing.
	This button will display the next step in the search process.
	Allows you to run a previously saved search strategy. Click on this button and select a stored strategy to run.
	Allows you to save your search strategy so that you can reuse it at a later time. Click on this button and fill in the form to save your strategy temporarily (24 hours) or permanently.
	Allows you to delete all the search sets on the Main Search Menu.
	Allows you to expand the Main Search Menu so that you can see all the sets in your search. Ovid defaults to showing the last 4 sets.
	Allows you to compress the Main Search Menu so that you see only the last 4 sets in your search.
