The MeSH terms that are indented under "heart diseases" are NOT subcategories or subheadings. They are completely independent MeSH Terms. The fact that they are indented under "heart diseases" tells us that these MeSH terms sit in the "heart diseases" family or tree.

Notice the numbers that appear next to each MeSH term? These indicate the numbers of articles that are indexed to each individual MeSH term.
