CHOOSING AN APPROPRIATE DATABASE

MEDLINE is sold by the National Library of Medicine (NLM) to commercial vendors and software producers. The NLM also mounts its own MEDLINE system, PubMed, on the Internet.

The Alumni Medical Library of the Boston University Medical Center subscribes to MEDLINE on the OVID software, and has named our system, BUMC MEDLINE Plus/OVID.
