Password Change Procedures
To change your password from any LRC computer:
- Go to any Windows Desktop PC
- Double-Click the red Triangle icon: "ACS Accounts"
- Choose the 'Kerberos Only' link option
- Follow the on screen instructions to change your password.
- A Pop-up box will appear requesting your old password. If you remember your old password, enter it now. Else follow the instructions below.
Please show your ID to Computer lab staff for password change approval.
If you do not remember your old password, then click the cancel button on the pop-up box. And follow these instructions:
- A small icon will then appear on the left hand side of the screen which says "submit query". Click on these words.
- A new screen will appear with an "I do not remember my password" button
- Click this button and show your ID to Computer lab staff for password change approval.
To change your password from home, go to: www.bu.edu/computing/accounts and follow the instructions above. Note that if you do not know your old password and have to use the "I do not remember my password" option you will not be able to access your account until you physically come into the computer lab and show your ID for password change approval.
